Almost have the upper roof and upper dormer complete for @cliffandevans on their #Rosedale project. This project has lots of detail and transitions. The roofs have to be completed bottom up so everything overlaps properly onto each other. We chose to complete the larger flat roof 100% so we can now work on the rear shingle section and complete the upper dormer. The shingles will overlap onto the new flat roof below. We will install the shingles up to the dormer and then complete the dormer metal and cap sheet and finish off the sloped roof. Everything must be completed in sequential order in order to be executed properly. This is crucial when doing a complex project like this. These transitions are always the problem areas down the road and it is better to have it done by a professional then to have issues one day. Cliff and Evans are a very professional general contracting firm and I enjoy working with them on their projects. This roof consists of a Soprema roof system – 1/8″ Sopraboard, Sopralene Flam 180 Base, Sopralene Flam 250GR Black Cap Sheet and all 26 Gauge sheet metal flashings. The sloped roof has a GAF Timberline HD Driftwood shingle.
